Food may become contaminated or reach their destination in an unsuitable condition unless control measures are taken during transportation.

Food Transporters shall implement eobust Food Safety Programmes to ensure food safety during transportation.

Where appropriate, particularly bulk transport, containers and conveyances should be designed for food use only.
